With backing from the Urban Cowboy band, the show features three separate sets-Johnny Lee opens the show followed by Mickey Gilley and then a joint performance of songs from the movie. They kicked off the tour in early 2018 and came to Ameristar exactly one year prior with their load of hits. The two legends were prominently featured in the film 1980 film by the same name starring John Travolta where Gilley’s nightclub in Pasadena, TX was the main location.
